Introduction: Born in Costa Rica and raised in Los Angeles, JP grew up in a musical family. He started as a drummer and percussionist, and that was his major in college until he realized that singing was his true passion. He studied classical vocal technique at Fullerton College. His first professional job was playing Aladdin in the Aladdin Musical Spectacular at Disney’s California Adventure. He has become one of the most sought-after vocalists and percussionists in the industry, working with A-level artists. The Jacksons (The Jackson Five) have been calling JP to fill the shoes of their brother, Michael Jackson, since 2011. He is an official member of Jennifer Lopez’s touring band as her percussionist. You might have heard him on Dancing With The Stars for several seasons. As a solo artist, JP recently released “Jugar Al Amor” which reached over 1 million views on YouTube. In addition to performing, JP runs a top-notch recording studio where he and his partner write and produce.
