Nick Hein is making a name for himself as one of the most in demand bassists in San Diego. Specializing in Funk and Rock n Roll, Nick has a knack for putting a wiggle in your toes and a smile on your face. His kind nature is reflected in his smooth bass playing and infectious dance moves. His original band, The Routine, won Best Rock Band at the 2015 San Diego Music Awards and been nominated for an SDMA every year of their existence. As a session player, Nick has worked with Grammy Award and International Blues Challenge Winner: Lenny “Fuzzy” Rankins; Grammy Award winning engineer: Alan Sanderson; SDMA Best Blues Winner: Whitney Shay; as well as “The World’s Most Travelled Band” Liquid Blue just to name a few.
