Doug started his musical journey in Minneapolis Minnesota, the same city that gave rise to artists such as Prince, Morris Day and The Time, The Replacements and many others.  Doug mastered many styles at a very young age and performed with many notable artists and musicians all throughout his career, such as members of Bob Marley and The Wailers, Peter Schless Band (“On the Wings of Love” with Jeffery Osborne) David Pomeranz (Barry Manilow, Bette Midler)  Doug was the former bassist and musical director for triple platinum recording artist Maxine Nightingale (“Lead me on” “Get right back were we started from”) Lucinda Chatfield (The Righteous Brothers) as well as having playing with many local groups throughout the San Diego area. Dougs bass playing brings a blend of many styles from a very diverse career. Whether it’s  “old school” Funk and R&B or hard driving edgy rock n roll, Doug brings it every time he steps on stage.
