At a young age Billy was exposed to the likes of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and many more Motown pop-related artists. . Billy grow up in South East London (Lewisham) as an only child. Leaving school at 16 he worked for his dad and attended a Theater School 2 nights a week, where he met like-minded youngsters who gave him the enthusiasm to dedicate his life to what he loves. At 18 he finally made it on to the professional stage at King George’s Hall in Manchester, England, as a vocalist. In the next few years he toured the UK and made it across the ocean to Los Angeles to assert his self as a singer/songwriter. There he teamed up with the Rebels and Billy Deen and the Rebels were born. The band consisted of 4 members with Billy on lead vocals. In January 2012 the band performed at the Whisky a Go Go and released a single, ‘With you’ ,that hit the million-view mark on YouTube. The next 2 years saw the band perform across the United States at some iconic places that included ‘The Viper room’,  ‘The mint’ , ‘LA County Fair’ and the Temecula Wine Festival,  also making regular appearances on local radio. In 2014, after 2 years Billy Deen and the Rebels decided to go their separate ways. Billy currently joined Liquid Blue and is excited for what the future may bring. Billy believes in the power of song and makes it his quest to raise the vibration of people with music to make our world a better place.
